Rensselaer Urban Forestry Council is a 501c3 and does accept donations by cash or check in the mail. (Include 501c status info for tax deductible receipts, can they donate through Jasper Newton Foundation? CC donations?) We can also accept some in-kind donations in the form of professional skills or supplies that make it easier to fulfil our mission. Reach out through our Contact Us form to learn more.

Become a Volunteer.

Anyone interested in environmental health and beauty of our community is welcome to join the Rensselaer Urban Forestry Council. Join us for community events like Arbor Day. Participate in our Annual Hug a Tree Contest. Volunteers can help with everything from planting, mulching, and serving on the board at our monthly meetings. Rensselaer Urban Forestry meets once a month to plan activities. Check out our Calandar for more details.
